Crafting for a Cause

If you like to make crafts, then join our Junior Friends for Crafting for a Cause. At this fun-filled event, we’ll make cool crafts using a variety of mediums. There’s just one catch–you can’t keep what you make! The crafts are given away to area senior citizens, veterans, homebound individuals, and nursing home residents. It’s art from the heart!
The Circle of Friends and the Junior Friends are dedicated groups of people of all ages who believe that an excellent library is essential to a community. Members work to promote and assist the Groton Public Library through advocacy, fundraising, and programming. The Circle of Friends is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. To join the Circle of Friends or Junior Friends, simply pick up a brochure at the Library and fill out the back-page application. Joining is free.
