Nothing is more festive than popping bottles of champagne or prosecco on New Year’s Eve! Why not spice it up a little bit and add a little variety by having a Champagne Bar at your NYE party!? Here’s how you do it…
Choose a few different types of Champagne, Prosecco, Sparkling wine, club soda, and sparkling cider or juice. Make sure they’re all chilled or on ice. Set out as many champagne glasses as you have guests, because it’s always more fun to drink out of a champagne glass!
In addition to the Champagne you’ll need the following…
- 1 bottle St. Germain elderflower liqueur
- 1 bottle Cointreau
- 1 bottle of Chambord
- 1 bottle of peach schnapps
- 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup raspberries
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1 orange, cut into supremes
- 1/3 cup sugar cubes
Now, your guests can do this any way they want! They can simply add a sugar cube to their glass to add more bubbles, or a piece of fruit, or they can do what we like to do and that’s add about an ounce of one of the liqueurs to the bottom of the glass, top with Champagne, and a piece of fruit. Delicious and very festive!
Happy New Year, Shoreline Moms!! Have a fun and safe night!! (Make sure you have a designated driver set up or use Uber!)
